The View Trumps Scout Centennial Jamboree


We continue to gain insights into Obama's values (or lack thereof), as he has somehow found time to go on The View, but none to make a traditional presidential appearance at BSA's quadrennial jamboree in Virginia -- and not just any, but the Centennial. Nor the even more convenient centennial BSA march in Washington, D.C., right by the White House. The president is the honorary president of BSA, but that means about as much to him as the honorary "leader of the free world." Of course we shouldn't expect anything different -- he's just showing his solidarity with the anti-Scouting ACLU and gay activists. Again, playing to his base, just as with the Arizona bill. We'll see how far all that gets him and his party come Nov. when we declaw him by clipping his Congressional majority, so that he stops shredding the fabric of our society. The "great uniter." Right.



No one plays the hand they're dealt (the race card) like Obama. And they were absolutely apoplectic about Shirley Sherrod. Her redemption was annulled in the full text of her speech, where she blamed the anti-health care bill sentiment on racism. If the only tool you've got is a hammer, that's the solution to every problem. And while anti-semitic comments by drunken Christian conservative Mel Gibson are trounced upon, sober secular liberal Oliver Stones' get a free pass. Again, being liberal/left and secular means never having to say you're sorry.



Obama slipped another real socialist -- Mr. Berwick -- into his administration, with a secretive recess appointment (no Congressional or public review) to CMS over all Medicare/aid -- it has a bigger budget than the Pentagon. Just another step in the transformation of America.

Meanwhile, the debt continues to rise....





Just as our means of paying it off are reduced....







Well, if he keeps getting us deeper in debt, and keeps reducing our ability to get out, he won't have to be so apologetic and dejected about our superpower status, because we no longer will have it. Hmmm..... method in his madness?



All this, and he wonders why his polls are down?

Epiphanies, Socialists in Democrats' Clothing & the Welfare State

Another Epiphany! Giving credit where credit is due, apparently Pres. Obama has had yet another epiphany similar to those in his (ig)Nobel prize speech (that there IS evil in the world that can NOT be negotiated with but must be fought). The other day he actually used the words “war on terror” for the first time, instead of “overseas contingency operations,” or “man-caused disasters.” The Left must be fuming. It is not yet clear whether this is a real conversion from the liberal-left virtual world to reality, or just Augustinian political expediency. If the latter, our outcries may be getting through – liberals just have to feel loved, and apparently he wasn’t feeling the love being returned from the rest of the world (his "foreign affairs") after his apology tours, so he’s starting to make another try at patching things up back home.
