He's Obama's expert, and exactly right -- technology and manpower are only components of a comprehensive, effective solution, including an essential barrier (aka "wall") component. Drones and detectors and manpower won't stop several thousand (or more) people rushing the border, and they're sure to increase the caravan size after these initial probes. And there's much less empirical or rational evidence they would be effective alone than evidence of the effectiveness of walls. How many constitute an "invasion" or "crisis" in the eyes of Democrats? Trouble is, it's a steady flow invasion over many decades -- about a million illegals a year. Like the frog in a pot of water heating slowly to boiling, and it doesn't sense the danger until too late. That million a year is much more over a long period than Europe or any other country...
