Expert: Wall an essential part of a comprehensive solution. He's Obama's expert, and exactly right -- technology and manpower are only components of a comprehensive, effective solution, including an essential barrier (aka "wall") component. Like a multi-layer missile defense. Drones and detectors and manpower won't stop several thousand (or more) people rushing the border, and they're sure to increase the caravan size after these initial probes. And there's much less empirical or rational evidence they would be effective alone than evidence of the effectiveness of walls. How many constitute an "invasion" or "crisis" in the eyes of Democrats? Trouble is, it's a steady flow invasion over many decades -- about a million illegals a year. We need to start petitioning legislators, protesting, and whatever it takes to make California safe, or I'm out of here. Enough with the sanctuary state & city laws.
