Blind Guides Strain at a Gnat, and Swallow a Camel & another Cultural Revolution

“Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.”   [Matthew 23: 24]   The camel? How about modern slave markets in Libya? Or human sex & labor & coyote traffickers worldwide? Or real concentration camps for 1-2 million persecuted Uyghurs in China, Chinese oppression of Tibetans and Hong Kong, after reneging on the handover deal with Britain, or destroying churches? And the Chinese dealing in racist manner with Africans, as Africans attest. Or Iran and other Middle Eastern radicals (Taliban, ISIS, etc.) who throw homosexuals off buildings or topple walls on them, crucify Christians, destroy their churches, suppress women, etc.? Or many political prisoners in Cuba, Russia, Venezuela, etc.? Those are real oppressions that apparently those who think we’re the worst country in the world are either oblivious to, care more for their own financial gain (NBA, Bidens, etc.), or because they need to strain at a gnat for their own political purposes. E.g., c...

Alinsky-ite Tactics, Double Standards, Mueller/Comey, More Trump Derangement Syndrome & True Border Crisis

Image
6/1/19 More double standard, pot calling the kettle black, a “special exonerator,” and “cultural imperialism.”   Dems, Brennan, Clapper etc. think it an outrage that Trump may legally declassify some of their work related to Spygate, but they’re all for illegally declassifying redacted portions of the Mueller report.   If they want openness, let’s have bipartisan openness. Media commentators etc. are criticizing Trump for supposedly being soft on or championing despots, or siding with them on Biden’s IQ.   As Levin points out, his actions have been much stronger against Cuba, Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea & Venezuela than Obama, who of course got no criticism from them, but only praise.   Obama put a U.S. embassy in Havana & opened trade/travel, whispered to Medvedev “tell Vlad I’ll have more flexibility after the election” & did little or nothing after Russia invaded Ukraine, he did little to nothing about China’s trade thefts & S. China S...

Hysteria over Trump at the Helsinki Summit with Putin

Image
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTr…/status/1018955906690584576 At least 2 political risks possibly in the graphic above, actually – one, going ahead to meet with Putin when some said he should call it off after the 12 Russian indictments, and second, not publicly trying to humiliate Putin with accusations like the reporters & Dems were goading him to do at the press conference. I almost sense some of Trump’s defiance of such goading was reflexively contrarian out of his despisement of much of the media. Of course they’re motivated by lingering anger that Trump won the election (despite findings the Russians didn’t impact it), and possibly some fear that Trump might actually succeed at his own Russian reset where Obama/Clinton clearly failed. I guess they forgot that Obama once said that the idea of public shaming of Putin on the world stage doesn’t read the Russian people well. No, Trump has been nothing if not consistent in opening dialogues with leaders of our chief a...

8/8/17  North Korea Supposedly during the Obama administration N. Korea was years away from weaponizing their nukes, and ICBM’s.  Now, suddenly, according to the news, their recent ICBM test could have reached anywhere in the US, and they have 60 miniaturized, weaponized nuclear warheads to go on them.  So Obama conveniently kicked the can down the road, and basically did nothing.  Bill Clinton touted how great a deal he’d brokered thru Jimmy Carter with N. Korea, giving them billions to develop peaceful nuclear power with the assurance they wouldn’t develop weapons.  Laughable.  Just like Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, where many more billions of dollars were given, and kicked the can down the road just a bit.  But after decades of trying limited sanctions and diplomacy, putting up with N. Korea’s threats, at some point, and this is that point, the bill comes due.  It would have been easier to deal with it earlier, than now when they have nu...
